Alice Gibbs Clay

Alice Gibbs Clay, age 81, of Bracey, VA passed away August 12, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Denning and Ola Mae Gibbs; her son, Ernest Wilson Clay, III; her sisters, Ann Rash and Thurman Brown; and her brothers, Elton and Norban Gibbs. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Wilson Clay, Jr.; her daughter, Pamela E. Bland; her son, Wesley Dwayne Clay; her grandchildren, Heather C. Bland, Sean C. Bland, Hunter Wilson Clay, Austin Davis Clay and Payton Scearce; her great grandchildren, Lily V. Donovan, Jacob T. Donovan and Rosemarie N. Bland; her brothers, Warren, Larry and Earl Gibbs; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Saint Mark’s Episcopal Church Cemetery, Cochran, VA. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville will be handling the arrangements.
