Audrey Jackson Ball

Audrey Jackson Ball, age 87, a lifelong resident of Dolphin, VA, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

 The daughter of the late John Robert Jackson and Louise Christian Jackson, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Ball, a daughter, Marty Payne, and a brother, John Reed Jackson.

 Audrey enjoyed cooking and traveling. She was a wonderful Christian woman and was a member of Warfield Baptist Church. Most of all, she will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and sister who loved her family deeply.

 She is survived by her sons, Anthony Thomas Ball (Margaret) and Kenny Wade Ball (Sue); grandchildren, Mary Beth Moss, Matthew Moss, Jamie Ball, and Cody Ball; a great granddaughter, Violet Moss, a sister, Mary Lucy; brothers, Saunders Jackson (Linda) and Larry Jackson; a sister-in-law, Debbie Jackson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, VA, followed by interment at Bethel Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
