Barbara Theresa "Bobbie" Bolte

Barbara Theresa “Bobbie” Bolte, age 87, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022.Born in DeWitt, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Frederick and Viola Connelly Bolte. She was also preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, John D. and Jewel Bolte of Blacksburg, VA, and her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce B. and Carl Peters of Colonial Heights, VA. Bobbie was a 1963 graduate of the MCV School of Pharmacy. She retired after 34 years as a pharmacist at Petersburg General Hospital. She was a longtime member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Petersburg, but in recent years was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Colonial Heights. Bobbie is survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her lifelong friend and devoted caregiver, Betty Harrelson. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
