Barbara Ann Taylor Yeattes

Barbara Taylor Yeattes, 87, of Emporia, Virginia, departed this life on October 24, 2024.

 She was born on August 18, 1937. She is the daughter of the late Hyman and Dorothy Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland S. Yeattes, brother, Hyman Taylor, Jr., and a sister, Nora Taylor Short.

 She is survived by her four children, Mike, Alan (Anne), Mark, and Debbie Vincent (Tony).

 Barbara was loved and adored by her grandchildren, Taylor Burke, Kelly Burke, Mark Yeattes, Jr., and Blake Vincent as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and friends.

 Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life.

 She was the manager of former Medco Drug Store on Halifax St. in Emporia for over 20 years. She was a lifetime member of Rock United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, VA. She enjoyed gardening, and yard sales.

 We will carry her memory in our hearts.

 The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be held at Rock United Methodist Church, 75 Rock Church Road, Lawrenceville, VA 23868 on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
