Baylor Bennett Lindsay, age 21, affectionately known as "Chop," passed away on July 25, 2024, after a lifelong battle with Fanconi Anemia and Fanconi Anemia Neurological Syndrome. He was born on June 4, 2003.
Baylor was a 2022 graduate of Dinwiddie County High School. Despite the many challenges he faced during his life, he maintained his quick wit and sense of humor. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time near the water. Baylor cherished relationships with his friends and had a deep love for his pets.
He is survived by his loving parents, Tanner and Jessica Lindsay, sister Lauren Lindsay, grandparents Barbara "Babs" and Jerry Johnson, Robert Kilbourne Jr., and Sharon Lindsay, his aunts and uncles: Kim Lane, Jeremy Johnson, Jennifer Johnson and Katie Shaab, Bobby Kilbourne, and Walker Kilbourne, as well as a special cousin, Harper Johnson. Baylor shared a special bond with each of them and leaves behind lasting memories that will be cherished forever.
Services to honor Baylor's life will take place at Ocran United Methodist Church, 20221 Cox Road, Sutherland, VA 23885. A visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM.

Baylor's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace.
