Cecil Page Walker

Cecil Page Walker, age 87, of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022. A lifelong resident of Brunswick County, he was the son of the late Sidney “Jack” Walker and Lila Meeks Walker. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Iris Lee King Walker, and a son, Sidney Arthur Walker.

Cecil was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from VDOT after 35 years of service. He was involved with Dixie Youth Baseball for more than 40 years, and was a former member of the Brunswick Volunteer Rescue Squad. He was also a former member of Brodnax Assembly of God.

He is survived by his sons, Darrell Walker and wife, Wanda; Donnie Walker and wife, Janice; Ronnie Walker and wife, Leah; Andy Walker and wife, Becky; Tristin Bishop and wife, Amber; daughter-in-law, Lisa Walker; grandchildren, Jason, Kim, Jessica, Cameron, Chris, Kyle, Heather, Caleb, Keavy, Liam, Travis, Kevin, Victoria, and Sidney; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Etta Morehouse and Pat Watson; and a brother, Obie Walker; as well as a special friend, Robert Durham.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, VA. The family will receive friends before the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
