Cora Lee Yeatts

Cora Lee Yeatts, age 85, of Rawlings, VA, passed away peacefully Friday, September 13, 2024, in her home after a long-term illness.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley and Esther Thacker, twelve siblings, her husband, Douglas Yeatts; and her son Glen Yeatts.

 She is survived by three children: Wanda Dawson, Donna Moore, and Ken Yeatts, seven grandchildren: Keith Dawson, Debra Acree, Bobby Moore, Janice Johnson, Marie Lake, Kristina Mai, and Nikki Yeatts, ten great-grandchildren: Alexander, Eva, and Stephen Johnson, Zhavia Moore, Alex and Zach Acree, Laurel and Cora Lake, Aubrey and Aspen Yeatts, her sister, Lois Smith, Kenny and Debra Ball; Perry and Gilda Dark, and far too many close friends to list. 

 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, at 11:00 am at Warfield Baptist Church, located at 7318 Flat Rock Rd, Warfield, VA. The service will be followed by Cora’s interment in the church cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Warfield Baptist Church.
