Doris Chambliss Epps

Doris Chambliss Epps, age 91, of Triplet, VA passed away September 11, 2018. She is the daughter of the late Lonnie and Lucy Chambliss. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. William Braxton Epps; her daughter, Dana Allman; and her sister, Bernice C. Lucy. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Epps and her partner Amy Lawrence; her son-in-law, Randy Allman; three grandchildren, Jeremy Allman and wife Melissa, Justin Allman and wife Amy and Crystal A. Larson and husband Jim; four great grandchildren; her brother, John Mason Chambliss; her sister, Mary C. Vick; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Philadelphia United Methodist Church, 6072 Triplet Rd., Lawrenceville, VA 23868, with interment in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the church, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Summit Square Memory Edition, 501 Oak Ave., Waynesboro, VA 22980.
