Doris Wiley Markley Vaughan

Doris Wiley Markley Vaughan, age 95, of Dolphin, VA, passed away at home on August 3, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents Lucius and Annie Taylor Wiley; and by her husband George Percy Vaughan and her granddaughter Marcia Vaughan Brown. She is survived by her brother, Luther W. Wiley; her daughters Sandra M. Liner, Linda M. Carty (Ken), Brenda M. Overby (Stuart) and her step-son Lawrence T. Vaughan (Fely); her grandchildren, Craig Liner; Nikki Kennedy-Amos (Steve), Courtney Borgfield (Ray), Kathryn Carty Chodkiewicz, Jennifer Carty McHargue; Karen Overby Farnsworth (Scott), Ryan Overby, and Kevin Overby; Teri Vaughan and 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Reedy Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, August 11 at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to Lawrenceville Baptist Church or New Century Hospice in Emporia, VA.
