Ella Mae Buckner Connell

Ella Mae Buckner Connell, age 86, of South Brunswick, Virginia passed away March 1, 2022. She is the daughter of the late Wilbur and Sadie Buckner.She is preceded in death by her son, William C. “Carl” Connell, Jr.; two brothers, William and Gilbert Buckner; her twin sister, Elsie B. Clary and sisters, Marie Gordon and Frances Pearson. She is survived by her loving husband William Carlton Connell, Sr.; her daughter Amy Connell Clary and husband David; her daughter Beverly Washburn and husband Kent; her daughter-in-law, Ann Connell; her grandchildren, Andrew W. Connell and wife Krystal, Lesley C. Nunn and husband Patrick, Laura Eddings and husband Chris, Collin Washburn, Chase Clary and Alex Clary; her great grandchildren, Drew Connell, Kelsey Carter, Harper and Van Walker Nunn, Ava Marie Connell and Lawson Eddings; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday at James Square Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
