Ellen Jean Lucy Gibson

Ellen Jean Lucy Gibson, age 82, of Dolphin, VA passed away June 6, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harman Gibson. She is survived by her children, David S. Gibson of Gasburg, Janet G. Glisson of Richmond and Jon W. Gibson and wife Kim of Midlothian; her grandchildren, Joanne Gibson, Wes Glisson, Woody Glisson, Meridyth Poe, and Emily and Nathan Gibson; her great grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Kristen Ivey, Madison Poe and Grady Glisson; and her sister, Frances Grizzard and husband Robert of Emporia. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Edgerton United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00, prior to the service, in Edgerton United Methodist Church.
