Gloria Jean Malone Anderton

Gloria Jean Malone Anderton, 78, of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond. She was predeceased by her parents, Paul C. and Edith Moore Malone. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clifton F. Anderton, Jr.; numerous cousins, among them, Barbara C. Lee, Dale M. Cannon, Teresa M. Carpenter, Nicole C. Clary, and Christina C. Daniels; Goddaughter, Haylee N. Clary, as well as many friends. Gloria Jean, along with her husband, owned and operated Paul Malone’s Store for many years until their retirement. She also retired from the Department of Corrections. She was a longtime member of Edgerton United Methodist Church where she was active with the United Methodist Women. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery, Lawrenceville.
