Herman Elliott Ashworth, Jr.

Herman Elliott Ashworth, Jr., age 57, of Gasburg, VA passed away October 11, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Gibson Ashworth; his children, Annie Farrar and fiancé Bryson Parrish of Farmville, Chris Ashworth of Dreweryville, Brandon Farrar and wife Erica of Colonial Heights, and Kristina Clary and husband Adam of Gasburg; his grandchildren Kali and Kaci Clary of Gasburg and Gavin and Vivian Farrar of Colonial Heights; his mother, Madge R. Ashworth of Gasburg, VA; his brother, Eddie Radford and wife Pat of Gasburg; his two sisters, Alease Futrell and husband Winky of Capron, VA and Diane Morriss and husband John of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Herman E. Ashworth, Sr.; his niece Tanya Radford; and his nephew Eddie Radford, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Hill Christian Church with interment at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
