Cynthia Lynn Morefield Seward, age 57, of South Hill, VA passed away May 28, 2019. She is survived by her mother, Patsy Webster Morefield; her son, Joe L. Seward, IV (Anita); her grandchildren, Maxamillion Seward, Jacob King, Madison King, Morgan King and Bradley Brown; her brothers and sisters, Wayne Morefield, Melissa Ibrahim, Rodney Morefield (Mary Ann) and Theresa Morefield; and her nieces and nephews, David Morefield, Brad Morefield, Susanna Alexander, Corey Morefield, Quinten Finch and Darren Morefield. She is preceded in death by her father, Darrell Morefield; her husband Joe Luther Seward, III; and her granddaughter, Courtney Seward. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Memorial contributions may be made to Brunswick County Cancer Association, P.O Box 522, Lawrenceville, VA 23868 or the Mecklenburg County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 311, Chase City, VA 23924.
