Carter Blose Jones
Carter Blose Jones, age 67, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Anderson and Nancy Elizabeth Livesay Blose, and her husband, Terry Kenyon Jones. Carter was a graduate of the MCV School of Pharmacy and retired after 32 years as a Pharmacist at Hiram W. Davis Medical Center. She was a generous person who always looked for the best in people, but most of all, adored her grandchildren very much. She is survived by her sons, Scot D. Jones (Chrystal) and Ryan K. Jones; grandchildren, Grace Carter Jones, Cole Edward Jones, Avery Wynn Jones, and Kate LeeAnn Jones; sisters, Nancy Lee Davis (Mark) and Betty Dunn (Avery); and nieces, Hunter, Kelly, and Lee. In memory of Carter, please donate to Dinwiddie Volunteer Fire & EMS Co. 1, 13516 Boydton Plank Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841. Services are by Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Lawrenceville, VA.

A great neighbor and an even better person! I've known Carter since I was a child. She will be sorely missed in our neighborhood!

My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Carter for 20 years at Hiram Davis. She was a kind individual. Carter was not shy in speaking her mind, but always receptive to hearing other viewpoints. We will miss her!
