So saddened to hear of my dear friend’s passing. Our friendship started before elementary school, as two little girls sharing coloring books, and the friendship continued and carried on all these years. My thoughts are with the family as well as my prayers.

To the Malone and Anderton Family,

With condolences in the transitioning of a beautiful, caring and spirited Lady. Gloria Jean will be missed by many who knew her and grew up in the community. Fond memories of Paul Malone store and the best ice cream around served with a smile.

I thank GOD for the time, talks shared and memories that we will hold as a tapestry in our hearts.

Clift, you would not remember me. I am the son of Bo and Wilhelmina Harrison. I met Gloria Jean years ago thru her cousin Betty and well remember your father in law. and my dad called on the store when he was working for Leggitt and Myers. My sympathy to you. Gloria Jean was a grand southern lady and was loved by everyone.

This is a hard pill to swallow but I know God makes no mistakes. May God bring peace and comfort to you the Malone/ Anderson and our community which they touched so greatly with ice cream and penny candy. From the Family of The Late William and Mamie Cleaton Hill.
