Craig has always been one of the most selfless people we knew. He would check in with us throughout the years just to see how we were doing. He always made us smile and laugh. We will miss him terribly. We love you and will be praying for you.
To the stroud family! We are so sorry for your loss. We can’t even imagine the pain you guys are going through. My heart is broken. Graig was amazing. I will never forget the first time he came to my house to meet us when we joined your neighborhood. He became family and loved Protecting his family-(mommy ❤️) and us. April was so lucky to have Craig as a friend. We all were lucky. Last time we talked to Craig was at a store and he didn’t forget a thing about the old neighborhood. He made me laugh so hard. So many memories with you guys. Miss just being able to walk to your house. Miss you Yvonne!!
Burying your child has to be the hardest thing in your life. I wish I could reverse everything for you and your family.
Rest In Peace Craig.
Prayers for you and your family. I grew up with Donald and Yvonne in LaGrange. I remember Donald, a proud father, bringing Craig over to meet my father when he was just a toddler. My father was not well and it brought him such joy to meet Craig because he loved Craig's father, Donald, like a son.
May the Lord bless and keep you all during this difficult time.

I met Craig many years ago when he came to work with me at Safety First. After he left he remained a good and true friend. Craig would do anything for anybody and his presence would always bring a smile. I talked to Craig for a while the day he passed never knowing it would be the last time. My heart goes out to Becky and all his family, he will be truly missed.
Craig and I met about seven years ago as he was a student in the Namozine Fire Department class I was instructing. I was always impressed by his drive to succeed in the class, and achieve being a certified Firefighter. I was as proud of him as he was of himself. From the 4 months together I will never forget his awesome demeanor, unique facial expressions, classic one-liners, and his large as life personality. Craig continued to remain in touch with me until his passing, and anything that mentioned me on facebook, he was always my biggest cheerleader. Only kind words were spoken by him, he humbled me, a guy I strive emulate. God certainly took a good one. Until we meet again, rest easy my dear friend, much Love for you always.
A Platoon was shocked to hear of your passing. We all knew you had a huge passion for public safety and you loved the Fire Department, so we honored you by making a donation in your name to a non profit organization supporting Firemen and Firewomen. We know you will be up there watching over all the people you loved and cared about.
Becky, I am so sorry for your loss. Craig was such a good man and I know he will be missed by so many. You and Craig were such a wonderful support for my daughter, Ashley, during a hard time in her life and I appreciate so much how you and Craig were there for her. I know God will hold you during this time of sadness. Praying peace for you, Madelyne, and all your family.
Good Morning,
Mr. Stroud was not employed with us for very long at Sussex State Prison Complex, however he had joined our Sussex family, and we mourn the loss of him and our sympathy goes out to his family. He was a very friendly individual with the perfect personality to work here with us. I met him while he was in training and he was such a nice person. Again, our Complex is very sorry for your loss.

The passing of Craig has brought our past memories swiftly to the forefront when my family and I knew him as a young adult.
There is never a right time to say our goodbyes and yet we are left to believe that it was time for his FATHER to see Craig “face to face”.
May we, “Look up to see where our help comes from.” His memory will always be favorable.
