James Dennis Brammer

James Dennis Brammer, born April 7, 1952, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home in Dolphin, Virginia on November 17, 2021.He was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn H. Brammer and his parents, Delaine Cheely Brammer and Joseph Dalton Brammer. He is survived by his brother, Roger (wife Tanya); his three sisters, Carolyn (husband Brad), Lisa (husband Anthony), and Robin; and several nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Brunswick Senior High School and spent just over 6 years in the active-duty Air Force, Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard. Jim worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation for over 30 years and received many certificates for his outstanding service during his career. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville with interment at Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery, La Crosse, VA. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
