Janie Belle Honeycutt McLaughlin

MCLAUGHLIN Janie Belle Honeycutt McLaughlin, age 101, of McKenney, VA passed away August 6, 2017 at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation Center in Danville, Virginia. She is the daughter of the late David Brown and Bessie Honeycutt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry McLaughlin; her son, John Wayne McLaughlin; her daughter, Cheryl M. Sherlock; her grandson, Matthew McLaughlin; and a sister and five brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Darlene M. Ryland, Wilma M. Mason and husband Ralph, and Daphne M. Hendrick and husband Wayne; her grandchildren, John Newton Ryland, IV, David Brian Ryland, Suzanne Ryland Massey, Mary Kathleen Ryland, Lloyd Y. Moseley, Jr., Kristi M. Kirks, Patricia M. Williamson, Robert Hendrick, Patrick Hendrick, Christopher Hendrick, Linda Lee James, Mark McLaughlin and Craig Sherlock; seventeen great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday at Ebenezer Community Church, Warfield, VA with interment at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
