Joyce Farnam McGuinness

MCGUINNESS Joyce Farnam McGuinness, age 79, of Gasburg, Virginia passed away peacefully on June 22, 2017. Joyce grew up in Rosedale, NY where she met her husband of 60 years, Frank McGuinness. They raised their family in Jackson, NJ and retired to Lake Gaston in 1995. Joyce is survived by her husband; her children, William McGuinness and wife Mary Jo, Rick McGuinness, Tom McGuinness and wife Edrie, and Nancy Spataro and husband Paul; her grandchildren, Josh, Zach, Tess, Vianna, Edrie, Amberly, Zoe and Dimitri; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Pleasant Hill Christian Church with interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Christian Church, P.O. Box 550 Gasburg, VA or Central Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 386 Gasburg, VA 23857. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, Va will be handling the arrangements.
