Justine Stansbury Jones

Justine Stansbury Jones, age 81, of Gasburg, Virginia, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2022.She was born in Littleton, North Carolina on July 27, 1941, the daughter of the late Willie Ben and Dorothy Stansbury. She graduated from Littleton High School and East Carolina University, and worked for Virginia Cooperative Extension and as a teacher at Brunswick Academy. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Larry M. Jones, Sr.; her daughter, Lori J. Bentley and husband Scott; her son, Larry Mallory Jones, Jr.; her grandchildren, Virginia and Colin Bentley; and two sisters, Sandra Williams and husband Mike of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, and Jane Lockerman and husband Alex of Gasburg, Virginia, and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Enterprise Baptist Church, 404 Enterprise Road, Littleton, NC.
