Lenora Elizabeth Ritchie

Lenora Elizabeth “Beth” Ritchie, age 64, a lifelong resident of Evergreen Farm in Dinwiddie County, VA, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023.

From childhood, Beth was a member of Lebanon United Methodist Church. She graduated from Dinwiddie County High School and attended Longwood College. She worked for 38 years with the Appomattox Regional Library System.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents, James Henry and Lenora Price Ritchie, as well as several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her brother, James H. Ritchie, Jr. of Dinwiddie; nephew, James S. Ritchie of Detroit, MI; aunts, Mildred R. Holder of Midlothian, VA, and Elizabeth R. Thomas of Henrico, VA; and an uncle, Stephen S. Ritchie of Fernandina Beach, FL.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Lebanon United Methodist Church, 12450 Courthouse Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841, with Rev. Brian Posey officiating.
