Lisa Annette Crowder

On Thursday December 15, 2022, Lisa Annette Crowder, daughter of Calvin Nathaniel Crowder, Jr. and Dolly Beck Crowder, died after an extended battle with cancer. She would be 63 on August 2, 2023. She is survived by her two daughters Virginia C. Kendall and Helen G. Kendall; her brother Calvin “Brad” Crowder; and mother Dolly B. Crowder; and predeceased by her father Calvin N. Crowder, Jr. Lisa was the manager and helped operate Sligh Plumbing and Heating in Hopewell alongside her brother for many years. She enjoyed camping, gardening, doing yoga, relaxing on the beach, reading good books, singing in the choir at church, and spending time with her daughters and their pets. Her memory will live on in her girls as they continue to walk through life. A private service will be held at a later date for close family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Y.M.C.A., a nonprofit close to her heart. Arrangements are by Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Lawrenceville, VA.
