Loretta Mae Foote

Loretta Mae Foote, age 91, a resident of Chesterfield County, VA, passed away Monday, August 2, 2021.She was the daughter of the late Samuel L. and Vernelle Condrey Breeden and the widow of M.K. “Red” Foote. She was also predeceased by a sister, Shirley B. Kirby. She is survived by a daughter, Linda D. Strausburg; grandchildren, Michael A. Talley (Ti Anna) and Michelle T. King (Richard); a great-granddaughter, Ti Arra M. Talley; two great-great-grandchildren, Gunner Hamlin and Trinity Hamlin; and a sister, Rev. Beverly J. Samford. Loretta was known for her deep love for her pet cats through the years and for feeding any stray cats at her door. Donations may be made to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Road, Richmond, VA 23220.
