Mary A. Ryan

Mary A. Ryan, age 99, a resident of Petersburg, VA, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022.Mary was one of 12 children born to the late Joseph and Mary Urban of Dinwiddie County. All of her siblings preceded her in death. Mary was married to the late Raymond E. Ryan for 59 years. They had five children together: Raymond Ryan, Jr. (deceased) and wife, Susan, Linda O’Rourke and husband, Jim, Pat Ryan, George Ryan and fiancée, Debbie, and Leslie Ryan and wife, Deborah; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Petersburg. She loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 at St. John Catholic Church, 7310 Squirrel Level Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23805.
