Mary G. James, 83, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away unexpectedly on February 15, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lee James, Sr.; her father, Henry Milton Turner; her mother, Annie Mae Turner; her brother, Henry Turner; and her brother-in-law, Dan James. She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law whom she loved dearly, Wanda K. James.
She wasn’t only the best wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she loved everyone she knew and welcomed everyone with a warm smile and a hug. She was a stay at home mother for the most part, taking care of her three boys whom she loved whole heartedly. She was a true angel on the ground to anyone who knew her.
She is survived by her three sons, Thomas Lee James, Jr., William Lee James, Sr., and Johnny Dale James; three grandchildren, Kimberly James, William Lee James, Jr., and Kristina James. She has several great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ann Harville and her husband, Chuck Harville, a large extended family and way too many friends to name.
