Nora Edwards Wright

Nora Edwards Wright, age 74, of White Plains, VA, passed away April 27, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Edward Wright; a son, William Bryant Wright and wife Kay; a daughter, Torie L. Turner, and husband Leonard; two grandchildren, William Howard Wright and Katie Lynne Wright; a special employee and friend of 42 years, Bo Blackwell; and a beloved dog, Scooter. She was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 1964, and a graduate of Mitchell’s Hairstyling Academy, Class of 1965. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church in White Plains, VA. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Tabernacle UMC Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Tabernacle Cemetery Association c/o Steve Jones, 160 Walker Mill Trail, Emporia, VA 23847.
