Patrick Worth Smith Jr. of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on September 25, 2021.He was born on April 20, 1950 in Hampton, VA. Patrick was an independent contractor for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick W. Smith Sr. and father-in-law, James E. Stell. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Delilah Stell Smith; his Mother, Nell C. Smith; his Mother-in-law, Dorothy B. Stell; his children, Patrick W. Smith, III and wife, Lisa, and Dotti Adams and husband, Joey; grandchildren, Emily T. Smith & fiancé, Corey Anderson, Patrick W. Smith, IV “P.W.” and girlfriend, Taylor Spence, Madison G. Smith “Mattie” and boyfriend, Trevor Hebner, Lauren Adams and Megan Adams; sisters, Cynthia L. Smith “CC” and Patricia Smith; brother, Tim Smith and wife, Cheryl; sisters-in-law, Donna G. Archer, and Doris Hargrave and husband, Stanley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. He loved his family and said his family was his strength. Patrick was an active member of Dinwiddie Masonic Lodge No. 136. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Smyrna Baptist Church, 18971 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow at Smiths Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
