Peggy Powell Jones

Peggy Powell Jones, age 69, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away February 18, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Bertie Powell and her grandson, Chip. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Jones; her daughter, Tabitha Thomas and husband Tim; her grandchildren, Hannah, Emily and Alex; and her brother, Dennis Powell. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville with interment at Matthews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lawrenceville, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
