Rebecca "Becky" Smith Scarborough

SCARBOROUGH Rebecca “Becky” Smith Scarborough, age 89, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away June 15, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Jennie Smith. She is survived by her son, Barry Lee Scarborough and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Julian Lee Scarborough; her brothers and sisters, Leroy, William, Ralph, Stella and Loraine; her nephew, James Smith, Sr.; and her niece Mona Smith. Becky was a nurse for the United States Army and continued her career in nursing at Community Memorial Healthcenter where she was head nurse and also at the Brunswick County Health Department. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Lawrenceville United Methodist Church, Lawrenceville, VA.
