Robby Wilkins Blue

Robby Wilkins Blue, 50, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2018 after a courageous battle with colon cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Shell Blue and his father Robert Luther Blue, Jr. Robby was raised by his maternal grandparents, Hugh Wilkins Shell and Catherine Wesson Shell, who also preceded him in death. He is survived by his three aunts, who were mother figures to him, Sondra Shell Gallagher, Mary Shell Tolbert and Joyce Shell Webb. He is also survived by cousins, Tammy Tolbert Greene, Crystal Webb Murphy and April Gallagher Monbleau, who were like sisters to him. He was also survived by his half brother, Matt Blue and his half sister, Jenny Blue. Robby also was survived by many close friends. He was loved by all who knew him and will be remembered for his strength, compassion and courage. Special thanks to all of the staff of VCU Medical Center of Richmond and South Hill and the staff of UNC Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Matthews Chapel U.M.C., Animal Humane Society and American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, December 2 at Matthews Chapel U.M.C., Lawrenceville, VA prior to the 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service.
