Rudolph Wayne Ramsey

Rudolph Wayne Ramsey “Doc,” 75, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 8, 2023. Born on December 7, 1947, to his late parents, Isaiah and Eugenia Ramsey. Wayne was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Margaret Ramsey.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Joy Ramsey (Kurtis), Love Ramsey, Megan Ramsey (Michael), and Erika Ramsey; a son, Rodney Ramsey; brothers, William Ramsey (Sue), Douglas Ramsey (Cindy), Donald Ramsey (Carol); a sister, Eugenia Elder (Richard Jr.) He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Wayne left a legacy that will forever be remembered by his family.

The family would like to especially thank Anna Myrick for her loving care and At Home Care for all their services.

Per Wayne’s request, there will be no service. Condolences can be expressed at the home of his daughter, Love Ramsey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an Alzheimer’s/Dementia research program of your choice.
