Shirley Alice Howerton Gibbs

Shirley Alice Howerton Gibbs, age 69, of McKenney, VA passed away July 22, 2019. She is the daughter of the late Thomas and Alice Howerton. She is survived by her husband, Warren Allen Gibbs; her son, Thomas Dale Rawlings; her daughter, Laura Rawlings; her grandchildren, Thomas D. Rawlings, Jr., Skye Nicole Smith, Stephanie Lynn Rawlings, Jasmine Star Rawlings, Ashia Jade Rawlings, Triston Rawlings, Olivia Rae Rawlings; her great grandchildren, John Ranson Smith, Allie Grace Barlow, Thomas Gabriel Barlow; her brother, Thomas D. Howerton; her nephew, Thomas D. Howerton, Jr.; and her niece, Beverly Frances Steed. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Asbury Cemetery, McKenney, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s at www.stjude.org. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville will be handling the arrangements.
