Thelma Capps Brewer

Thelma Capps Brewer, age 95, of Brodnax, VA passed away May 11, 2022.She is the daughter of the late Charlie and Rosa Capps. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Lewis Brewer; two grandchildren, Joe Seward, III and Tammy Seward; her great great granddaughter, Courtney Seward; brothers, Jessie, Howard and John Capps; and sisters, Virginia Shearin, Lillian Clary and Jo Anne Edwards. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Brewer and wife Terri; her daughter, Joyce Brewer; her grandchildren, Patricia Bagwell, Jamie Seward and Bryant Brewer; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her sisters, Velma Perkins and Doris Colbert; her brothers, Charlie Capps and Franklin “Big Boy” Capps; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday May 15, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville with interment at Oakwood Cemetery, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lawrenceville United Methodist Church, P.O.
