Thomas Otha Mayton, Jr.

Thomas “Tommy” Otha Mayton, Jr., age 75, of Lawrenceville, VA passed away at home peacefully February 18, 2022.He is the son of the late Thomas O. Mayton, Sr. and Mary Clary Mayton and is preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Jean Poarch and Vicki Mayton Lewis. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann King Mayton; his daughter, Mitzi Mayton Pearce (Chris King); his son T.J. Mayton and wife Erica; his grandchildren, Tim S. Pearce, and Caleb, Morgan, and Natalie Mayton; his sister, Lisa Walker; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of Virginia, Ann Matthews, Debra Williams, Paige Meadows and Donna Harmon and special friend Diana Mulholland. A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022, at Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. The family will receive friends after the service.
