Timothy Allen Dorsey

Timothy Allen Dorsey, age 61, of Sutherland, VA, passed away at his home on Sunday, May 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Elwood Dorsey and Beatrice Pittman Bunn; sisters, Yvonne Boseman, Angela Bunn Nelms; a niece, Amy Boseman Abrams.

A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Timmy served aboard the U.S.S Nimitz. He was a diehard UNC Tar Heels and Dallas Cowboys fan for life, loved to play pool, and was a huge music enthusiast and always played it loud. He will be remembered as a true man of his word. Timmy loved his children but he was absolutely crazy about his granddaughter. He was a welder by trade and a member of Local 28 Ironworkers Union.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Napier Dorsey; his children, Kelley Dorsey, Gary Dorsey, Gracey Mastromarino (Dustin), Zachary Eubank, and Rachel Eubank; grandchildren, Maicey Lamm and Noah Mastromarino; the mother of his children, Tracey Blevins; siblings, Diane Lovegrove (Preston) and Lawrence “Woody” Dorsey; step brother, Teddie Stinnett, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at the Dinwiddie Ruritan Club, 15610 Courthouse Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841, and at other times at the home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery located at 10300 Pridesville Road, Amelia, VA 23002.
