Tina Lee Buford

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Tina Lee Buford Thurston and her beloved cat, Ting, on September 1, 2024, at the age of 62. Tina was born on September 15, 1961, in Hawthorne, CA, to Gerald and Anita Thurston (Middlecamp).

Tina was a free spirit with a heart of gold, celebrated for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family. 

She was known as a jack of all trades, working in the construction field across various job types until her retirement. After retiring, she dedicated herself to being the best grandmother and friend she could be.

Tina was preceded in the Lord by her parents, Gerald and Anita Thurston, and her sister, Tamara Lynn Kegley (Thurston). She is survived by her husband, Murphy Raymond Buford Jr., and her children: Alicia Mae Moore (Buford), Monique Marie Buford, and Daughter-in-law Adriana Moreno Gomez. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Alyssa Janae Brodnax, Adam Christian Moore Jr., and Addison Elijah Moore. Additionally, she is survived by her niece, Rebecca Rose Lynn Bullock (Kegley), nephew, Ricky Lee Kegley Jr., and her long-time friends, Georgia Everett, Wanda, and Henry Bennett.
