Vera Mae Humphreys Clary

Vera Mae Humphreys Clary, age 84, of Gasburg, VA passed away January 2, 2018. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Marie Clary; her husband, James I. Clary; and her brother Harold W. Humphreys. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Clary Lucy and husband John Lucy, III; her grandchildren, John Lucy, IV “Land” and James Sawyer Lucy; and her brother, Milton Humphreys. Vera was a member of James Square Baptist Church where she taught children’s classes for many years. She donated her body for scientific study to the Virginia State Anatomical Board. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at James Square Baptist Church, 9440 Christanna Highway, Lawrenceville, VA 23868. The family will receive friends after the memorial service from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
