Willie Mae Browder, just shy of her 95th birthday, died October 23, 2019 at the Bloom Retirement Center where she had lived the last eight years. She was predeceased by her husband Winston F. Browder; her parents, Gregg and Elle Clary; brothers, Pete, Garland and Gregg Clary; and sister, Gladys Hall. Mrs. Browder is survived by two sons, Stephen (Brenda) and Gregg (Cindy); two grandchildren, Caitlin and Madison Browder; a devoted friend, Denise Williams; and loving nieces, Barbara Hudson and Jean Moseley. Willie Mae worked until she was 84 as a bookkeeper and tax preparer. She started working with Ethelyn Cross and over the years as the company changed she ended after 53 years with Creedle, Jones and Alga. She also worked at the Big Three Warehouse and helped her husband with his farming. Her past times were watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune where she was hard to beat and doing difficult crossword puzzles. A graveside service will be held at the Edgerton Memorial Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2019. Visitation will be at the home of Brenda and Steve from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2019 and after the funeral.
