Even though I could not physically make it to the service today, I am there in spirit. So many thoughts of Dink and Barbara and Nancy this week. What I will most remember about Dink is his presence at Visions on Thursdays, making sure the beginning shaggers felt welcome and offering to help them. His presence and many contributions to Richmond Shag Club will certainly be missed! My love and sympathy to Barbara, Nancy, and his entire family.

I have many pleasant memories of dancing with Dink and repeating until I got it right! He was very patient. He was always offering advice, in a good way. A very caring person that made you feel better about yourself. I will miss him.
I know you have many more pleasant memories of Dink and I hope they will help you through this pain. My prayers are with you.

Brian and I send our love and condolences to Dinky’s family and friends. We always enjoyed seeing him when he and Barbara visited N. Myrtle Beach. He was a good friend and I always looked forward to dancing with him when we lived in Richmond. He always had a smile. We love you Dinky and know we will see you again. You’re in His hands now.

It was with shock and sadness that I read of Dink's passing. He and I go back a long way, turning double plays in HS, with him at short and me at 2nd, then continuing in all the years of Watkins' softball, just from a different angle with him on the mound then...." If it's back to you, Dink, I'll be there". My deepest condolences go out to all of the family. My God bless you and keep you during this time. Love, Cla
