I was so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. My condolences to all the family. Tom's dad and my mother worked next door to each other in the 60's in Alberta. It was always a joy to run into Tom over the years. He was an exceptionally nice guy and it was always good to talk to him about any number of topics. We worked together for a while after he left VEC. He was always a warm and caring guy and to have known him was a pleasure.May the Lord bless all the family at this sad time.

Tom Baird was gentle soul always happy to help others with matters, large or small. A constant steady influence in our neighborhood of Stonewall Ave. His thoughtfulness and quiet manner are surely a loss in this era of turmoil!
We feel that time was a very blessed period in all of our lives!
We wish each of the family peaceful memories of warmth produced by the love experienced .
    With Love,

Elizabeth and Family, I am sending you hugs and prayers. When we were growing up, we used to talk about boys and getting married. Then you and Tom found each other and I had the honor of being in your wedding. We watched our families grow and each of us got involved in careers, children and life. I am sorry that I did not know Tom was sick. Lynn and I both send you our deepest sympathies.
