Courtney was, without a doubt, my favorite teller. As I'd inch up in line, I always hoped she would be at the window. She always called me by name, verified my transactions, and asked how my daughter and I were. She was a kindred spirit in many ways, and we enjoyed sharing ideas and laughs. There are certain people that touch the lives of those they know in a unique way. Knowing them brings us joy and inspiration; when they're gone, memories of all they've done remain. I will truly miss her.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of Courtney Hicks. Courtney was a dear friend of ours through the Henrico Federal Credit Union. She was always so kind and helpful and friendly when we would visit the drive-thru line there. When we first met Courtney many years ago, we told her about our little grandson loving trains. She suggested the Thomas Train Set as a Christmas gift for him, because she had given that to her loved one. Our grandson loved every one of the trains we bought him. That grandson will now be 17 years old this week. Courtney was always personable. We prayed with her during her illness. We will miss her so much. May God comfort you, see family, with His grace, love, and peace. In Christian Love, Judy and Tom Fernald

Courtney will be missed by many who were lucky enough to know her! She always knew my name and I’d wait in line just to get to her window. She loved my mom and Dad and cried with me when they passed. Heaven certainly gained an Angel when the Lord called her home!

    Dear Family,
I was a customer/friend at Dixon Powers & will truly miss Courtney's loving, caring nature. She had a smile & kind words for everyone. The drive-thru won't be the same without her; I miss her already.

    Daniel and Ellen,
My deepest and sincerest sympathies to you. I loved “Court”, as I called her throughout the years, so much. She was the true calm in any storm and one of the kindest; most genuine people I’ve ever had the opportunity to know. The world is a little less bright today, but heaven has gained a true angel.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you!
