Glenn William Russ
Glenn William Russ, age 92, a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, VA, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie Carpenter Russ; two sons, William T. and Jerry W. Russ; and two step-children, Perry and Calvin Carpenter. He is survived by three children, Donald R. Russ (Brenda), Glenn Mitchell Russ (Geraldine), and Christine R. Smith; two step-children, Larry Carpenter (Joyce) and Linda Adams; daughters-in-law, Judy Russ and Teresa Carpenter; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private. Services by Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Lawrenceville.

    Uncle Glenn was a warm, caring man who never met a stranger, so likable and fun to be around, he like to help others in need.
    I am thankful that my mom and I had visited him October 2019, a wonderful memory that I will hold dear. Goodbye Uncle, peace be with you.
