I just learned of Judge Lewis’ death yesterday. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I worked court with him for many years in Powhatan County before we both retired. We shared many good times and conversations together and I thought he was great man and wonderful person.

Barbara, my sincere condolences to you and the family. I have known Richard since he was nine years old at camp. We had many adventures together throughout our camp years, college, and beyond. We drove to Alaska, lived a summer in southern California, drove to Florida, and spent many happy days exploring the trails of Rockbridge County. My special regret is we didn't stay in touch after we started raising families. My prayers go out to you on this difficult time.
