Thomas Kent Russell, Jr.
Thomas Kent Russell, Jr., age 73, of Dinwiddie, VA, passed away Sunday, November 28, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Kent and Angie Lee Barbour Russell, and his only sibling, Ann Moody. Kent was a 1970 graduate of Dinwiddie County High School. He was a lifelong member and Deacon at Pine Grove Baptist Church. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson, dancing, and doing body and paint work on cars. He is survived by his children, Janice Pfister and husband, Rob, Michael Barnard and wife, Angel, and Chrystal Russell; grandchildren, Joshua, Cambell, and Ryan Pfister, Michaela, Luke, and Philip Barnard, Grace, Cole, Avery, and Kate Jones, and another granddaughter on the way; a niece, Tammy Harrell and husband, Robert; nephews, Lee Moody and wife, Shannon, Duane Moody, and Bobby Moody; and his beloved dogs, Bo and Buddy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2021 at Pine Grove Baptist Church, 22218 Dabney Mill Road, N. Dinwiddie, VA 23803. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church. Arrangements are by Williams Funeral Home & Crematory of Lawrenceville, VA. Condolences may be expressed at www.williamsfuneralhomeva.com.

    My cutest memory of Kent
    It was years ago he painted my sons mustang he was so proud of how it turned out so he goes to take another look when he opened the door wind blew in dirt got all over the car and it wasn’t dry
    Needless to say when went to pick it up. The look on Kent’s face was PRICELESS when he opened the door for Glenn to get it. Anyway we finally had a good laugh he repainted it. It became a good Conversation love you Kent RIP
